Do you want to be part of the "Show"? Bring your mobility scooter, bike or vehicle and a member of the Luminous Long Sault Lumineux Volunteers will help light up your ride to join in for the Drone Show. Prizes and awards will be handed out for best decorated bikes, cars and vehicles. Additional help to decorate watercraft will be at the Avonmore Beach.

Competition Details:
- Videos: The top three videos will be selected by our panel of judges based on creativity, technical quality, and capturing the event's spirit. Each winner will receive a fantastic prize.
- Photos: In addition to the video competition, we're also accepting photo submissions. Share your best shots of the illuminated extravaganza and stand a chance to win exciting prizes.

Submission Guidelines for Luminous Long Sault Lumineux 2023 Video and Photo Competition
We are thrilled that you're interested in participating in the Luminous Long Sault Lumineux 2023 Video and Photo Competition! To ensure a fair and smooth process, please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your entries:
1 Eligibility:
- The competition is open to amateur videographers and photographers of all ages.
- Participants must attend the Luminous Long Sault Lumineux 2023 event on July 8th, 2023, in Long Sault, Ontario, to capture their submissions.
2 Submission Deadline:
- The deadline for submitting your video(s) and photo(s) is August 19, 2023, at midnight (Eastern Standard Time).
3 Submission Options:
- Physical Submissions: If you prefer to submit physical copies, please send your entries to the following address: C/O Paul St-Onge Luminous Long Sault Lumineux 2023 35 Long Sault Drive Long Sault, Ontario K0C 1P0 Please ensure your submissions are appropriately packaged and clearly labeled.
- Email Submissions: Alternatively, you may submit your videos and photos via email to luminouslongsault@gmail.com. Please include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your submission in the email.
4 File Formats:
- Videos: Preferred formats are MP4, MOV, or AVI. Please ensure your video files are of high quality and no larger than 500MB in size.
- Photos: We accept JPEG or PNG formats for photographs. Please ensure your images have a resolution of at least 300dpi and are no larger than 10MB in size.
5 Naming Convention:
- When submitting your entries, please use the following naming convention: "YourName_VideoTitle" for videos. "YourName_PhotoTitle" for photos.
6 Consent and Ownership:
- By submitting your videos and photos, you grant permission to Luminous Long Sault Lumineux to use your entries for promotional purposes related to future events. You also confirm that you are the rightful owner of the submitted content and hold all necessary rights and permissions.
7 Judging Criteria:
- Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, technical quality, capturing the event's spirit, and overall impact.
PRIZES
Prizes:
- The top three videos and additional photo submissions will be awarded prizes. Prizes will consist of additional equipment and courses to help further enhance your creativity in photography and videography, along with monetary awards. Details of the prizes will be announced closer to the submission deadline. The following prize list is only a small portion of prizes to be won. Professional gimbal, Basic operators Drone/RPAS Pilot training and license from Transport Canada, invitation to Skymeet in Ottawa to discuss your submission and receive professional support from industry leaders to continue your creativity. Several gift cards to enhance your equipment and cash prizes.
